Ticket Availability & Restrictions
- Tickets sales will begin in March and be available for purchase until Midnight Central Time, April 9, 2009.
- Tickets are only available for members to purchase.
- Members must purchase their guests' tickets.
- If you try to buy tickets and are not yet a member, the ticket minions will let you know you have until April 9, 2009 to become a member of Midwest Burners or your ticket purchase(s) will be refunded and you will not be able to attend InterFuse.
- You will receive your tickets by regular USPS mail. (We need enough time before the event to mail them out to you.)
- Will Call tickets are not available.
- Group discounts are not available.
- Tickets are NOT sold at the InterFuse gate. They must be purchased in advance, online or by mail-in form. Online and mail-in sales will begin in March. Sales information will be available on this page at that time.
Members & Guests
InterFuse tickets may only be purchased by members of Midwest Burners. Please visit our membership page to join Midwest Burners. It's free!
A member may not bring more than seven guests to InterFuse.
IMPORTANT! MEMBERS MUST PURCHASE THEIR GUESTS’ TICKETS
- Any non-member or guest who personally purchases a ticket will not be allowed into InterFuse, regardless of whether a member claims that non-member as his or her guest.
- If you make a ticket purchase and are not a member yet, we will not ship your ticket(s) until you have completed a Midwest Burners membership application. You will need to sign up for membership by April 9th, 2009, or your ticket order will be refunded and you will not be able to attend InterFuse. Becoming a member is free and easy.
- A member's spouse is also considered a member regardless of whether the spouse applied
for membership. This means that either you or your spouse may purchase up to 8 tickets. But you cannot purchase more
than 8 tickets between the two of you. If you purchase 8 tickets, then one of these tickets would go to you and one
would go to your spouse if he or she attends. You may not purchase a 9th ticket for your spouse or any other member.
NOTE: this was a new change in 2007 after a review of the IRS guidelines.
A girlfriend or boyfriend or fiance is not a spouse. The main reason we let spouses of members be de-facto members is because we're taking advantage of something the IRS allows in their rules for our type of organization. If you're considered married by the IRS, then you would be for our purposes.
What To Expect At The InterFuse Front Gate
Each person arriving at InterFuse will need to have some form of Government issued identification and a ticket in hand.
A member MUST be present at InterFuse if his or her guests attend this festival. It is the member’s responsibility to host his or her guests.
Sometimes logistics keep groups from arriving together and that is okay. When each person presents his or her ticket and government issued ID at the gate, the Gate Greeters will check this information against our records. The Gate Greeters will use the name on your ID to verify that you are a member of Midwest Burners. When guests arrive before their hosts, the Gate Greeters will use the guests’ ticket numbers to verify that these people have a member hosting them.
Age Restrictions
In Fall 2007, we decided as a community to make InterFuse an adult event while HullabalU is an all ages event. Now no one under 18 may attend InterFuse, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian. We apologize for any disappointments and inconveniences. This decision was painful and took us four years of hard discussion to thrash out.

Front Gate - In & Out
When you arrive at InterFuse's Front Gate tent you will be reminded by the Front Gate Greeters that once you sign in and enter the campground, you cannot leave and then return later. This policy is for everyone's security. The Front Gate will not have the ability to sell you another ticket or have any cash on hand. Make sure you have everything you need to camp for the duration of your stay when you arrive.

NOTE: Ozark Avalon will be closed for InterFuse infrastructure preparation on Wednesday, April 29th. There is NO early camping this year!
