Rules Agreement

By purchasing an InterFuse ticket you agree to the following rules on penalty of expulsion without refund:

• All state and federal laws apply to Ozark Avalon, InterFuse, and its participants. Breaking the law endangers Ozark Avalon, InterFuse, and the entire Burner community.
• InterFuse is only open to Midwest Burners members and their guests. Members must purchase their guest's ticket(s). To become a member, visit the Midwest Burners home page, click the Membership button at the upper-right and follow the directions. Membership is free, fast, and online!
• No tickets are sold at the Front Gate. Anyone arriving without a ticket will not be able to attend InterFuse.
• When you arrive at InterFuse's Front Gate you will be reminded by the Front Gate Greeters that once you sign in and enter the campground, you cannot leave and then return later. This policy is to keep everyone safe, reduce traffic on the driveway, and to encourage radical self-sufficiency. The Front Gate will not have the ability to sell you another ticket or have any cash on hand.
• You will not be allowed into InterFuse without a government issued picture ID or some combination of identification documents such as a school picture ID and a birth certificate.
• Wristbands will be issued at the Front Gate to identify people of drinking age and those underage. Please wear the wristband throughout the event. If your wristband breaks, please come to the Front Gate with your ticket and ID to get another one.
• Take responsibility for your actions. Savor the freedom of expression at InterFuse but temper your personal freedom with respect for the rest of the community. Peacefully work out disagreements.
• Ozark Avalon does not tolerate verbal or physical aggression.
• Do not destroy or burn anyone's art unless the artist gives you permission.
• No vending.
• No promotions. You cannot promote commercial organizations, concerts, events, or products of any kind including raves. Promotion includes flyering, posting commercial banners or logos, giving out product samples, etc.
• Please ask before you photograph or videotape someone, as they may not want to be forever enshrined in cyberspace wearing that pink tutu.
• Avoid posted "no camping," "no access," and roped off areas. Please be familiar with the Ozark Avalon boundaries and do not trespass on neighboring properties.
• Fires in fire-rings only. No unattended fires. There may be a burn ban in dry windy weather.
• Absolutely no fireworks.
• No firearms and no hunting allowed on land owned or used by Ozark Avalon. You may fish in Lake Gaea and keep your catches though.
• InterFuse is a no pet event. The only animals allowed will be those needed by the handicapped.
• The Front Gate will be open from 8:00 AM to Midnight on Thursday, May 1st, from 9:00 AM to Midnight on Friday May 2nd, and 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, May 3rd. The Front Gate opens back up for the exodus on Sunday at 8:00 AM. After the Front Gate closes at night, there will be no In-Outs except in the case of an emergency.

Sound Restrictions

There are no county sound restrictions at Ozark Avalon. It is one of the rare places where this is true. However, be mindful that we are not immune to noise complaints. If InterRangers request you turn down your sound system, please do so immediately.

Being a part of a community is the responsibility of working with your neighbors - please respect your neighbors when you play music, and work out any differences between yourselves.

Alcohol

Alcohol is permitted at InterFuse for those 21 and older.

When you arrive at InterFuse and sign-in, you will be required to show a legal ID proof of age. Those over 21 will get a colored wristband. Anyone drinking alcohol without that wristband showing will be required to either show ID and get a new wristband, or leave without refund. This is for everyone's protection and complies with local, state and federal law.

Prohibited Items

This is a list of items not allowed at InterFuse. Anyone possessing these items will be required to leave the event.

• Guns and related firearms
• Weapons of any kind

Minors Policy

STARTING IN 2008, InterFuse is an adult event while HullabalU is an all ages event. No one under 18 will be admitted to InterFuse, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian. We apologize for any disappointments and inconveniences. This decision was painful and took us four years of hard discussion to thrash out.

Pet Policy

No pets will be allowed at InterFuse with the exception of those needed by the handicapped. Non-handicapped people arriving with pets must be turned away at the Front Gate without refund.

Most animals are very bothered by the 24 hour chaos at these kinds of events and no one likes to step in, well, you know. Ozark Avalon specifically requires this pet policy and we will respect it at InterFuse. The folks that live there have their own pets that may not appreciate your pet being there.

Your animal friend might be the coolest pet ever, a lover all humankind, an activist for inter-species peace, a performer of amazing tricks, and a crapper of jewels and bubbles. But still, please leave your super-pet at home. Don’t put the Front Gate crew through the emotionally wrenching experience of turning you away.
