Power & Light

Ozark Avalon has no electricity outlets on the campgrounds. So if you want to use electrically powered toys, tools, radios and do-hickeys, you'll have to be creative. It gets very dark in the Missouri Ozarks.

Campsite Light, Flashlights, & Batteries

If you intend to party 'till dawn, you'll need the ability to navigate at night. That means flashlights and lanterns - either gas or battery powered. Remember to bring plenty of gas cannisters and extra batteries. Fishing around in the dark for your keys is a real bummer.

Illuminate Your Art

If you bring or create art that will be displayed in a public area, please illuminate it in some fashion so people can appreciate it at night (and not stumble into it).

Decorative Lighting

A city at night needs lights! Lights everywhere! Try attaching battery powered Christmas lights to your tent or structure. Bring that disco light you've kept in the closet for years. Hang glowsticks. Light tiki torches. Use glow-in-the-dark paint. Did you know there are battery powered black lights at party stores? Use your artistic imagination to help make InterFuse a city of light in the wilderness.

Generators

Power generators are welcome at InterFuse, but please keep these things in mind:

"My candle burns at both ends; It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends
It gives a lovely light."
