Art and events will be pretty spontaneous and laid back. Feel free to do something ambitious or just kick back. If you are planning an event or are bringing some art, we’ll list it on this page. Here's what we have so far...

Saturday Events

Canoe Trip (Float)
Wake up early so you can get ready for departure at 11:00 AM sharp. We will organize carpools to the drop-in point (a 15 minute drive). Capt. TLC will provide a trailer to transport your inflatables and an air compressor to air them up. You are responsible for transporting your boat or canoe if you bring one. We’ll float a couple hours to a gravel bar, where we’ll have lunch. Remember to pack your own lunch. You may put your food coolers in Capt. TLC’s canoe or kayak if you need.
BBQ Feast
The Feast is at Center Camp and starts around 7ish. You may bring meat to grill but Capt. TLC is providing Texas Style Bar-B-Q. To help participate in the event bring a side dish like asparagus wrapped in bacon and toasted to perfection with a little goat cheese and a splash of lemon, or maybe potato salad; Your choice.

MWB Traveling Art Show
We (Dirty Fucking Hippies) are already retiring our virgin burn pickup bed trailer that became community art at InterFuse and are ready to start on phase two.

Burnin' Down The River will be the inauguration of the new MWB Traveling Art Show. Now bigger and better, with more canvas to display your tagger artwork. Come paint our "new" cargo trailer with your best stuff and send your art on tour, throughout the Midwest, to a burn near you! Spray paint and paint markers will be available throughout the burn as inspiration hits you.
