Most things at InterFuse are spontaneous, but some things do happen at scheduled times.
Midwest Burners/InterFuse does not book performers or entertainers for our events. YOU create the entertainment as a free gift to everyone else! Please remember that the point of InterFuse is to give gifts and make friends rather than to promote to a consumer base.
Tell the Event Planners about your InterFuse event or performance by April 9th to get it listed here and in the Front Gate Handout. This will make people more aware of your event (and you’ll get more participants).

We will need five judges and lots of entries to compete. Categories include your introduction; a display of your outer beauty; a display of your inner beauty; your adaptibility to answer a random question; and your personal support of this year's theme. Where: Kokpelli's Coffee House & Pancake Universe (Theme Camp) Once again, Kokopelli's Coffee House and Pancake Universe will be doing the "Pancakes are Art!" thing for your dining pleasure! Start your Burn Day off with this celebration of Edible Art! What? You've never had a Death By Chocolate pancake? Never tasted a Heart Attack Special? Don't think Bacon & M&M's could fit in a pancake? Ask anyone who's survived the experience, they'll tell you that you can fit almost anything in one of Kokopelli's Monster Cakes! Of course, we'll be brewing enormous quantities of Koko's Gourmet Coffee, and we'll be firing up two or three camp griddles to cook Monster Pancakes to golden perfection - we offer Bacon, M&M's or whatever other (legal) substances show up as "decoration" on these plate-sized not-so-flat gourmet treats. We've had pretty nearly every fruit you can imagine - strawberries, bannanas, pears, apples, peaches, and papayas. We've had Little Debbies, Hershey's, almonds, peanuts, coffee, and peanut butter. If you can imagine it in a pancake, bring it on, we can probably cook it! If you have a favorite topping to share, bring it along - we've had Nutella, Cinnamon syrup, Starbuck's Best, Maple syrup, Vanilla syrup and Chocolate syrup along with our standard Mrs. Butterworth's. All pancakes are "to order" and if you order "Cook's Choice" you could be thrilled (or not). Of course, this kind of mayhem doesn't happen without a lot of participation - if you think you have what it takes to spend a couple of hours as a Volunteer to make this all happen, as a Coffee Chef, Assistant Coffee Chef, Sub-Assistant Coffe Chef, Pancake Mixer, Water Person, or even a Pancake Chef (references required!), you have an opportunity to make a Singular Contibution to an Iconic Event at InterFuse! Contact Mad Hatter to volunteer. We need about 8-10 loyal volunteers to make this work - and there's cool swag for those who can hack it! |

Where: To be decided (follow the naked people) It's that time of year again boys and girls!! It's time to shed your clothes and inhibitions. I'm talkin' about runnin'...NAKED. Yes it will be another glorious year of athletic nudity. Where the winners are sweaty and the losers are pushing hard from behind. The competion will be stiff, but if you keep your head down and breath steadily you might just come first. All are encouraged to bear it all and run for the cause: naked running. So this year when your hear some drunk asshole yell at you throught a mega-phone, "Hey, get your damn clothes off and run naked!" don't be alarmed. Just drop those pants, pick up a dildo and run as fast as you can into beautiful naked bliss. |

Once we get settled after the race, we'll start with a few of the ties I finished with from yesterday, and what I might do next. How you build on the basics. Perhaps a little predicament, a little sensation, a little play, lets have fun and see where you can go from there. We'll finish with a little peer workshop, review, and Shibari play time. Where: The Portal to the Desecrated Temple of Eris (Theme Camp) The Hyperspacial Terraists have noticed that humans enjoy a little bit of healthy competition. That is why we've decided to motivate them by hosting a dance contest after The Burn. You would assume that spiritually-intense trance dance states could never be evaluated, judged and rated on a person by person basis... but you were wrong! We have the super advanced technology which allows us to assess who exactly is the most awesome and dedicated of all dancers. Do not be afraid, for if your heart truly into your dancing, it will not go unnoticed by our judges. Longetivity will be the main factor, but potentially traumatic dance moves will get you extra points with our judges! There will be prizes involved, but don't let that distract you, throw yourself into your dancing and you will be rewarded faster than you expected. |

Where: The Invaded Hidden Meadow (Theme Camp) We are fortunate to have Lindsey as a yoga instructor to help guide us through the postures. Yoga is training for the mind and body but also helps to strengthen the connection between these two opposing forces. On Friday afternoon there will be a beginner level course, so everyone is welcome and should not be intimidated! On Saturday there will be a more advanced class, but probably just in the sense that it will be faster paced, and everyone who is interested should still attend! Please bring a sticky mat, a towel, or be prepared to embrace the Earth. |

Where: Redbud Circle This is to be IF's analog of the temple burn at BRC. It will be a small quiet solemn burn on Sunday evening to mourn the passing of another year burning at Ozark Avalon and to release our hopes and ambitions for the year to come. IMPORTANT: If you stay AFTER InterFuse for this event, it will count as an ADDITIONAL night of camping and additional camping fees must be paid directly to Ozark Avalon. |
